Treetop Climbing with Finca Modelo is a fun and unique tour to do in Monteverde. Here you will have the chance to climb a hollow Ficus tree with a height of 40 meters!
The tour includes climbing the tree three different ways; 1 way is through the inside of the tree which provides you an amazing view of the heart of the tree as it is hollow. And 2 ways through the outside, one of them is climbing the tree via iron rods and the other one is for more expert climbers as it requires a really good physical shape as you will be wearing a full body harness and a special rope equipment to climb straight up.
Recommended ages: 12-60 years
Tour time: 7:30am, 10:30am, 1:30pm.
Duration: 3 hours
Includes: Bilingual guide, transport and equipment.
What to Bring: Closed and comfortable shoes to walk in and comfortable clothes.
